Responsibilities

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the overall operations of our Mill Valley store. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Store Manager in day-to-day activities, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, providing product recommendations, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Managing and developing a team of dedicated Sales Associates, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Implementing visual merchandising strategies to enhance the overall store experience and maximize sales potential.
  • Analyzing sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies to drive sales growth.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, we require the following qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a retail or customer service-oriented position, preferably in the organic or natural products industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of organic and natural products, including their benefits and uses.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and point-of-sale systems.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the store's operational hours.
