Responsibilities
As a Store Manager at Lena’s Organic & Natural Goods, you will be responsible for:
1. Overall Store Operations
- Managing day-to-day store operations and ensuring smooth functioning of all departments.
- Overseeing inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and replenishment.
- Implementing effective visual merchandising and ensuring appealing product displays.
- Creating and maintaining a positive and welcoming store environment.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
2. Team Management
- Leading and motivating a team of store associates, providing guidance and support.
- Recruiting, training, and evaluating store staff to maintain high-quality service.
- Developing and implementing employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Conducting regular performance reviews and implementing necessary coaching or disciplinary actions.
3. Customer Service
- Ensuring excellent customer service by resolving customer inquiries and complaints.
- Providing product knowledge and recommendations to customers.
- Building strong customer relationships and promoting customer loyalty.
4. Sales and Marketing
- Driving sales and meeting revenue targets by implementing effective sales strategies.
- Analyzing sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
5. Health and Safety
- Maintaining a safe and clean store environment, following health and safety guidelines.
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience in retail management, preferably in the organic/natural products industry.
