Responsibilities

As a Store Manager at Lena’s Organic & Natural Goods, you will be responsible for:

1. Overall Store Operations

  • Managing day-to-day store operations and ensuring smooth functioning of all departments.
  • Overseeing inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and replenishment.
  • Implementing effective visual merchandising and ensuring appealing product displays.
  • Creating and maintaining a positive and welcoming store environment.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

2. Team Management

  • Leading and motivating a team of store associates, providing guidance and support.
  • Recruiting, training, and evaluating store staff to maintain high-quality service.
  • Developing and implementing employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Conducting regular performance reviews and implementing necessary coaching or disciplinary actions.

3. Customer Service

  • Ensuring excellent customer service by resolving customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Providing product knowledge and recommendations to customers.
  • Building strong customer relationships and promoting customer loyalty.

4. Sales and Marketing

  • Driving sales and meeting revenue targets by implementing effective sales strategies.
  • Analyzing sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.

5. Health and Safety

  • Maintaining a safe and clean store environment, following health and safety guidelines.
  • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience in retail management, preferably in the organic/natural products industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for organic and natural products, along with a strong commitment to sustainability.
